Workvivo raises $22m in funding for further expansion

Cork headquartered Workvivo has raised $22m in new funding as it looks to continue its rapid expansion.

Workvivo offers an app that allows companies to engage and communicate with employees. Customers include Amazon, Lululemon and Mercedes-Benz.

The latest funding round was led by Tiger Global, and comes just over two years after it raised $16m from a group of investors including Tiger Global, Frontline Ventures and Enterprise Ireland.

The company said the new investment would go towards the further development of its product, with new features planned for the platform.

Workvivo has already grown substantially in recent years and now employs 123 people across offices in Cork, Dublin, London and Boston.

It said it has also enjoyed growth of 150% year-on-year for the past three years.

“We have been blown away by the tremendous growth we’ve seen, but mostly by the huge impact the platform has made for our customers,” said Workvivo CEO John Goulding. “We’re working with some of the world’s largest organisations to help them foster world-class workplace cultures.

“We’re thrilled to announce this new round of funding which will help fuel the next step in our journey.”

On a personal note as we used to share the building in Douglas with Workvivo in their infancy when it was just John and Joe, it is great to see them go from strength to strength. Check out workvivo
